These next few pictures are dedicated to Amos, the Black Lab that's leading. He was my friend & constant companion, as well as my first leader.

When conditions are right we head out onto the frozen Big-Bay-De-Noc.

The sun can warm the ice surface, which then refreezes to look like this. All of the dogs have experience running on this patchy lake ice.

We travel in a caravan style. Normally I am in the front but I went back and retrieved some things left by a guest and am now catching back up.
